Ethical issue # 1

A McDonalds V.P. asks me to conduct research on health conscience consumers opinions about McDonalds. 92% of respondants would not eat at McDonalds, 89% of responants think that McDonalds offers healthy meal options.
What information would I present to the V.P.
I would have to report both sets of information to the V.P. so I would not be misrepresenting my research. I would have to explain to him that although 92% of respondants said they would not eat at McDonalds 89% said that there were healthy options to eat there. The V.P. could then use this data to determine what needs to be done in order to get these health conscience consumers to eat McDonalds healthy food instead of just knowing they have it. If I didnt present both statistics I would'nt be keeping an open relationtionship with the V.P. and this could ultimately hurt McDonalds business in the long run and if they found out I minipulated the stats then they may not hire me to obtain research in the future.
